But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)

Dearly beloved, the Psalmist proclaims, “To the One who remembered us in our low estate His love endures forever” (Psalm 136:23).

One day, the angel of the Lord appeared to Mary, mother of Lord Jesus, and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you” (Luke 1:28).

The Lord was with Mary and He blessed her. She said, “For he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant” (Luke 1:48). “He…has lifted up the humble” (Luke 1:52). She called herself “His maidservant.”

Dearly beloved, commit yourselves wholly to the Lord right now! He will take the responsibility for all your family. There can’t be a greater blessing than that!

Every day, I get up early in the morning, and before attending to any other work, I kneel in the presence of God and tell Him: Lord! You are my hope! You are my portion! You are all in all to me!” I then tell Him one by one all the needs of the day. A divine peace would then fill my heart. Only after that, I attend to my work for the day.

The Bible exhorts, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33).

Rich or poor, learned or illiterate, it makes no difference to God. “God does not show favoritism” (Acts 10:34). He is mighty to save every one. God loves alike all His children. Lord Jesus loves you. Give Him room to dwell in your heart. Ask Him: “Lord! Come into my heart!” He is eagerly waiting to carry your burden. He doesn’t want you to carry your burden all by yourself.

He who said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28), will carry your burdens and share your pains. He will wipe away your tears. You shall be a blessing. Your household will be blessed!

Loving Lord Jesus,

I seek You with all my heart. I commit my life to You. Bestow your favour upon me. Look upon my humble state and lift me up in honour. Carry my burdens and wipe away my tears. Let your divine peace fill my heart.

In Your matchless name I pray.
